![]() We have enough left over funds to provide LTHS Alumni Club with a couple of scholarships and help the Alumni Club with a project or two. To round out the good news - we did not lose money over our homecoming weekend (we were close, but all the last-minute attendees pushed us over). (Though we did have 5 or so party crashers that just loved our 70’s music). Food, music and the people were all excellent. Overall, the reunion Saturday event went off without a hitch. I think we outdid the 66ers and definitely outnumbered the one Class of ’46 member that was there. The open house at the Corral was attended by a large number of us 76ers. Tour of South Campus was also a highlight. See pictures in other FB posts and in our gallery. A very small group of us were able to climb into the North Bell Tower, a very rare opportunity. With the parade rained out (I felt sorry for the Class of 2016 that built their floats and were ready to go), but with no parade, it gave us more time to tour North Campus. On Saturday, the Homecoming Parade was a washout with rain not ceasing for most of the morning and keeping but a few diehards from the football game (LT beat DGN). Weekend started with an untold number of us having Friday nite 8th grade parties and from what I heard and experienced, these were all very successful and a great time. Fun time was had by all, which included 178 pre-paid and 44 classmates that decided to join us last minute, for a total of 222 folks that reconnected with their past.
